About the course
This Graduate Certificate addresses trauma and recovery in Australian Indigenous communities through a multidisciplinary, trauma-informed approach. You’ll develop critical thinking and collaborative practice for working with people affected by trauma, drawing on Indigenous social and emotional wellbeing principles and healing frameworks alongside Aboriginal and Western concepts of trauma. The course examines historical and cumulative trauma, racism and related health impacts, and is delivered fully online, self-paced and full-time.
