About the course
This degree prepares you to assess clients and prescribe and deliver evidence-based exercise programs to improve health, manage chronic conditions and support rehabilitation. You’ll develop clinical skills in areas such as biomechanics and exercise prescription, with extensive hands-on learning and access to specialist facilities. The course includes substantial professional placement experience and leads to a Bachelor-level qualification in clinical exercise physiology and sport science practice.

Graduates can work as clinical exercise professionals designing and delivering exercise interventions for prevention, treatment and rehabilitation across the health spectrum. Career pathways include roles in hospitals, rehabilitation and community health services, private practice clinics, Medicare-supported exercise therapy, and multidisciplinary allied health teams.
