About the course
This joint Master of Public Health and Master of Global Development prepares you to address public health and development challenges in tropical Australia and the Asia-Pacific. You will explore interdisciplinary subjects linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, building skills to respond to issues shaped by COVID-19 and other global pressures. The flexible multimodal/online delivery supports professionals aiming for Master-level practice in public health and global development.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across public health and international development in government, NGOs, health services and global agencies. Career paths may include public health officer, health promotion or policy adviser, program/project coordinator, monitoring and evaluation specialist, or development practitioner working on community wellbeing and sustainability. Entry requirements
Completion of an AQF level 7 bachelor degree in a relevant health discipline; or equivalent.
