About the course
The Master of Clinical Simulation qualifies you to apply principles and theories that inform educational practice in a range of clinical simulation and other relevant contexts to undertake professional and highly skilled work and as educators and simulationists in the health professions. This practice-based qualification builds on the existing Graduate Certificate of Clinical Simulation. It is suitable for a broad range of health professionals and others who are, or will be, engaged in simulation-based education.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue advanced roles in simulation-based education and workforce development across hospitals, universities and specialist training providers. Career pathways include clinical simulation educator, simulation coordinator or program lead, curriculum or assessment designer, debriefing facilitator, and quality and safety roles that use simulation for systems testing and service improvement. The qualification supports progression into leadership in health professional education, with an optional research capstone enabling pathways into PhD-level work in health sciences.
