About the course
This course prepares you for further training toward a career in sonography, focusing on the foundations of ultrasound-based medical imaging. You’ll build underpinning knowledge in anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, patient assessment, and ultrasound system operation and image recognition. It forms the preclinical component of a longer accredited pathway leading into the Graduate Diploma of Medical Sonography. This is a Bachelor-level program in medical imaging foundations.
