About the course
This 4.5-year dual degree prepares you to become a practising dietitian, combining nutritional science with clinical dietetics skills. You’ll build knowledge in human biosciences, food and nutrition science, and nutrition in health and disease, alongside food service management for vulnerable groups. Learning includes coursework plus hands-on experience in professional settings to translate nutrition research into practical strategies for individuals and communities in this Nutrition & Dietetics bachelor-level pathway.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue dietetics roles supporting individuals and communities to improve health through evidence-based nutrition advice. The course prepares you for work across hospitals, private practice, aged care and other care settings, and public health or community nutrition programs. You’ll be equipped to develop and deliver nutrition strategies for disease prevention and management, and to communicate effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders as a bachelor-to-masters dual qualification in Nutrition & Dietetics.
