About the course

UNSW’s Bachelor of Economics / Law is a five-year double degree that combines rigorous training in economic analysis with a comprehensive legal education. You’ll build skills in understanding markets, policy and business decision-making alongside legal reasoning, advocacy and professional practice. The program is designed to broaden career options across government, business and the legal sector, as an undergraduate law and economics qualification. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue roles that draw on both economic and legal expertise, including commercial and corporate law pathways, policy and regulatory work, competition and consumer law, banking and finance, consulting, and public sector advisory roles.
