About the course
This degree prepares you to become a professional occupational therapist who helps people with disability, injury or ongoing conditions participate more fully in everyday life. You’ll combine academic study with extensive supervised work-based learning to build practical clinical skills and professional capability. The program includes core occupational therapy units plus opportunities to focus through Disability, Participation and Health studies. This is a four-year Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles as occupational therapists across hospitals, rehabilitation services, community and disability organisations, aged care, mental health, paediatrics, workplace and vocational rehabilitation, and private practice. The course’s substantial placement component supports readiness for entry-level clinical work and multidisciplinary settings. Graduates may apply for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. This is a four-year Bachelor qualification leading to Occupational Therapy practice.
