About the course
This 2.5-year master’s program prepares graduates for professional practice as an occupational therapist, building on prior study to develop clinical reasoning, evidence-informed practice and professional capability. You’ll complete research-focused coursework and quality improvement projects, plus more than 1,000 hours of supervised clinical placements across UQ clinics and diverse health and community settings. It is designed as a master’s by coursework in Occupational Therapy.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles as occupational therapists across hospitals, rehabilitation and community health services, aged care, disability and mental health services, schools and paediatrics, and private practice.
