About the course

This Masters by Research provides advanced training in mathematical sciences through an independent, supervised research project. You’ll develop logical, analytical and creative problem-solving skills while contributing to mathematical theory and its practical applications. The program is delivered on campus at Melbourne City and supports research aligned with RMIT’s STEM strengths in mathematics and statistics. The programme deepens scientific methodology, data interpretation, and applied research skills for laboratory and field-based careers.
