About the course
This Master of Philosophy is a research higher degree that builds advanced research capability and deepens disciplinary knowledge through an independent project and thesis. You’ll work closely with supervisors to investigate a focused topic in agriculture and/or food science, developing specialist expertise and scholarly communication skills. This is a master by research in agriculture and food science. The programme advances scientific inquiry through supervised laboratory or field research, data analysis, and thesis-based discovery.

Develop advanced theoretical understanding and critical reflection; analyse and synthesise complex concepts; generate and evaluate abstract ideas; design and evaluate research methods; communicate and disseminate research plans and results; and produce original research that contributes to knowledge and/or professional practice in agriculture and food science.
