About the course
This Master of Nutrition and Dietetics prepares you to become a practising dietitian through advanced study in nutrition science and dietetic practice. You’ll learn from experienced industry staff and build applied skills via client consultations in QUT Health Clinics and substantial professional placements across settings such as hospitals and community health. The program is designed as a postgraduate pathway into professional dietetics in Nutrition & Dietetics. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles as dietitians and nutritionists across clinical and community health, private practice, aged care, sports and corporate wellness, government and non-profit organisations, research, and food and health-related industries. The course supports eligibility for professional recognition pathways, helping graduates move into accredited practising roles where required for hospital employment and reimbursed private practice.
