About the course
UOW’s Master of Nutrition and Dietetics prepares graduates for professional practice as dietitian-nutritionists, applying food and nutrition science to promote health and prevent and treat disease. You’ll build skills in medical nutrition therapy and community nutrition program planning, with training aligned to Dietitians Australia competency standards. The course supports roles across clinical, community, food service, industry and research settings in Master-level Nutrition & Dietetics.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles such as clinical dietitian, community or public health nutritionist, food service dietitian, sports dietitian, research dietitian, and private practice dietitian. Career pathways also extend to the food industry in areas like product development, quality and safety, policy and regulation, and health promotion or communications. Outcomes reflect advanced professional preparation from a Master coursework degree in Nutrition & Dietetics.
