About the course
The Master of Engineering Management is designed to fast-track engineers into management roles, building capability to lead projects and navigate organisational change to deliver tangible results. Co-developed with Melbourne Business School, the course combines engineering problem-solving with business-focused learning in areas such as people, resource and project management. The curriculum is industry-aligned and draws on expertise from academics with substantial industry experience as well as representatives from major engineering organisations and government.
What you might learn
Students develop advanced technical problem-solving alongside core management capabilities required in complex engineering organisations. The course builds practical skills in leading people, managing projects and resources, and making informed decisions in professional engineering contexts. It also develops understanding of legal, commercial and marketing considerations from a management perspective.
