This Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) is a pre-apprenticeship style programme that introduces foundational electrical trade skills. You’ll build knowledge in safety practices, basic electrical concepts and practical skills to support entry into an electrical apprenticeship pathway. It is designed for learners with little or no prior connection to the industry and provides grounding for work across electrotechnology disciplines. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
