About the course
This honours degree prepares you to design and deliver modern electrical and electronic systems for high-impact sectors such as defence, clean energy and advanced technology. You’ll build strong foundations in engineering practice and progress to applied, industry-relevant problem solving across electronics, power and emerging technologies. Study is delivered in person at Flinders’ Tonsley and City campuses as a four-year Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in electrical engineering.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles designing and managing electrical, electronic and systems solutions across defence, space, energy and smart-city infrastructure. Typical pathways include systems or electrical engineer, electronics design engineer, smart grid or renewable energy specialist, and roles supporting autonomous platforms and mission-critical technologies.
