About the course
This Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science provides a one-year pathway for graduates from other disciplines to complete an accredited psychology sequence without undertaking a full three-year degree. You will study a structured set of compulsory units across three consecutive trimesters, building foundational knowledge of psychology and human behaviour. The course supports progression to further study toward psychologist registration and related professional pathways in psychology at graduate diploma level.
Career outcome
Graduates gain an undergraduate-equivalent psychology sequence that can support entry into further accredited psychology study toward professional registration. The qualification can also strengthen employability in roles where understanding human behaviour is valued, such as community and support services, health and wellbeing programs, government and policy, education support, HR and organisational roles, and research or program administration. Outcomes align with graduate diploma study in psychology.
