About the course
The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Indigenous Studies) explores how people think, feel and behave using scientific approaches to understanding the mind. You will build foundations in psychology while developing knowledge of Indigenous studies and perspectives, supporting culturally informed practice. Study on campus at Wollongong and develop skills to analyse behaviour, improve wellbeing, and address real-world psychological challenges in an undergraduate psychology degree.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles where understanding behaviour and culture is valued, including community and wellbeing support, program coordination, research assistance, and work in government, education, health and not-for-profit services. The degree can also provide a pathway to further study toward professional psychology accreditation. Career options are strengthened by combining psychology foundations with Indigenous studies in a bachelor-level psychology qualification. Preparing graduates for human resources support, community services, and psychology-related graduate pathways.
