About the course

This Certificate III in Aquaculture builds practical skills for fish farming and aquaculture production, including planning and maintaining systems to house aquatic species. You’ll learn to monitor water quality and stock health, manage disease and waste, and carry out harvesting and post-harvest operations. Training is hands-on and uses campus salt and freshwater facilities, with experience operating water treatment components and following safety procedures in an aquaculture setting.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue entry-level roles in aquaculture operations where they support day-to-day stock care and facility activities.
