About the course

This pre-apprenticeship Certificate II builds practical, hands-on skills for entry into the automotive industry. You’ll learn operational knowledge to identify and inspect mechanical and electrical components across a range of vehicles and equipment, and gain skills for minor maintenance and repair of automotive vehicle bodies. The program is designed to broaden automotive knowledge and improve readiness for an apprenticeship in automotive mechanical trades. The programme focuses on applied engineering drawings, workshop skills, and technical maintenance competencies.
