About the course
This honours year offers a focused, supervised research experience for high-performing science graduates. You will work closely with an academic supervisor, build research methodology skills, and complete a substantial project to strengthen your analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities. Areas may include environmental, marine or forest science management, and the degree can enhance employability or provide a pathway to postgraduate study in science. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates are prepared for science roles that value research capability and applied project experience. The honours research project develops skills in designing investigations, managing data, critical analysis and communicating findings to different audiences.
