About the course
Develop scientific and clinical skills to prepare for professional pharmacy practice. You’ll learn in purpose-built labs and simulated pharmacy facilities, build communication and patient-care capability, and apply knowledge through extensive supervised placement (500+ hours). The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) at QUT is designed to support workplace readiness across community and hospital pharmacy settings. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles such as pharmacist in community pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, and other healthcare settings, supporting safe and effective medicines use and patient-centred care. The degree also provides foundations relevant to medication management, clinical services, and broader health and pharmaceutical environments. Career pathways align with professional practice as a pharmacy graduate from a Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours).
