About the course
This vertical dual degree lets you gain 2 qualifications in 5 years and prepare for contemporary pharmacy practice, including dispensing and prescribing medicines. You’ll study in purpose-built facilities with simulated dispensaries and wet labs, and complete extensive supervised clinical placement from second year plus intern training in years 4 and 5. This is a Bachelor/Doctor pathway in Pharmacy & Pharmacology. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared to progress toward full registration as a practising pharmacist, supported by substantial clinical placements and integrated workplace training. Career pathways include community and hospital pharmacy, medication management and patient counselling, and roles in broader healthcare teams. The program can also support entry to research-focused work through a major and project options in Pharmacy & Pharmacology.
