You'll learn how to design, deliver and manage recreation activities, and explore four main areas: sport science, sport management and marketing, health promotion and sports coaching. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Graduates can pursue roles supporting participation, performance and community engagement across sport and recreation. Careers may include sport development officer, community sport coordinator, program and events coordinator, coaching and participation pathways roles, sport marketing or administration positions, and health promotion program delivery. Opportunities exist with sporting organisations, local councils, schools, and community and government agencies as a Bachelor-level sport development professional.
