About the course
The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) is a one-year program for high-achieving graduates who have completed an APAC-accredited three-year psychology sequence. You will deepen knowledge of assessment, neuropsychology, ethics and professional practice while developing advanced research capability through an honours thesis. The degree strengthens employability and provides preparation for further postgraduate study in psychology at honours level. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates may work across research and applied settings such as community and welfare services, child protection, health and education organisations, marketing and market research, and human resources. The honours year also provides a pathway to further postgraduate study in psychology, which can lead to registration as a practising psychologist after completing the required additional accredited training in psychology at postgraduate level. Preparing graduates for human resources support, community services, and psychology-related graduate pathways.
