About the course

This four-year honours program prepares you for contemporary occupational therapy practice through real-life cases and inter-professional learning with other health disciplines. You’ll build skills to help people of all ages participate in meaningful daily, work and leisure activities, with an emphasis on improving access and outcomes in regional and rural communities. Professional experiences support readiness for practice in occupational therapy at bachelor honours level.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue work as an occupational therapist across public and private settings including hospitals, rehabilitation services, community health, aged care, mental health services and private practice. Career opportunities also extend to home care, disability and NDIS-related services, vocational rehabilitation, schools and education settings, and independent living or respite centres. This prepares you for professional occupational therapy roles with a bachelor honours qualification.
