About the course
This four-year Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) prepares you to help people of all ages participate in meaningful everyday activities. You’ll build strong foundations in anatomy, physiology and holistic healthcare, then develop evidence-based assessment and intervention skills across diverse contexts and life stages. The degree includes 1000 hours of work-integrated learning to support practice-ready professional capability in occupational therapy. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles as occupational therapists across hospitals, rehabilitation services, community health, mental health, aged care and disability services. Career opportunities also extend to paediatrics, vocational rehabilitation, private practice, and multidisciplinary clinical teams supporting clients with physical, cognitive, emotional and developmental needs.
