About the course
Flinders’ Bachelor of Laws – Legal Practice Entry provides future-focused legal training with practical experience and strong academic support from day one. You’ll build core skills in advocacy, leadership and critical legal thinking, with opportunities to broaden your studies through electives and global experiences such as internships. The accelerated structure allows completion in 3.5 years with a pathway into the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice for entry to the legal profession.
Career outcome
This degree prepares you for diverse law and law-related careers across private practice, government and industry. Graduates may work as solicitors or progress toward barrister pathways, or move into in-house legal roles advising organisations on compliance, risk and commercial matters. The broad legal foundation also supports careers in policy, consulting, business leadership and specialist areas such as human rights, environmental law, criminal law and family law at the bachelor level in Law.
