About the course

This integrated double degree builds a strong foundation in mechanical engineering alongside engineering management. You’ll develop theoretical and practical skills to design and develop complex mechanical devices, with options to specialise across areas such as advanced mechanical, maritime, materials, electro-mechanical systems, and advanced manufacturing and digital design. The management component strengthens planning, organisational and business-oriented capabilities for leading engineering projects in Mechanical Engineering at bachelor (honours) level.

Graduates can work across industries where mechanical systems and engineering projects are designed, delivered and optimised. Career pathways include project engineer (mechanical), production engineer, and process development engineer/scientist, with progression into engineering management roles.
