About the course

This double degree combines chemical engineering and chemistry to prepare you for work across process industries and laboratory-based roles. You’ll study the development, design and operation of processes for extracting, converting and recovering materials, alongside modern analytical and industrial chemistry skills. The program is designed for full-time or part-time study and is delivered on campus at Curtin Perth as an undergraduate honours-level pathway in chemical engineering and chemistry.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue careers spanning engineering and chemical sciences, including chemical, process and production/operations engineering, as well as risk and safety roles. Chemistry-focused pathways include analytical, environmental, industrial, medicinal and forensic chemistry, plus materials science. Preparing graduates for graduate engineer, project support, and technical design roles across engineering sectors.
