This honours program builds on your prior language major and develops advanced research capability through seminar-based study and an independent thesis. You will work closely with academic experts to design and complete a focused research project aligned with your language discipline. It is designed for students aiming for research-focused careers or further study. This is a one-year Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in languages. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for pathways that value advanced language expertise and research skills, including research assistant roles, cultural and language advisory work, publishing and editing, government or NGO roles involving international engagement, and progression to higher research degrees. The thesis and supervision model also supports entry into academic and professional research environments. This is a one-year Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in languages.
