About the course
This Bachelor of Arts in Western Civilisation builds broad cultural and historical understanding through engagement with influential texts and ideas that have shaped Western thought. You will develop critical thinking, communication and leadership capability while exploring enduring questions across humanities disciplines. Study is on campus at Wollongong with a structured major option in Liberal Arts, completing a three-year bachelor degree in Arts & Humanities. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles across government, policy, diplomacy and community services, as well as journalism, publishing, marketing and communications.
