About the course
UWA’s Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) is a research-focused four-year pathway for high-achieving students. You complete a three-year bachelor’s degree in a discipline of your choosing and then an Honours year, with opportunities to design an individual program, access leading researchers and facilities, and build professional skills through workshops and enrichment experiences. This is an undergraduate honours degree with a strong research emphasis. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.

Graduates are prepared for research-led careers and competitive pathways into further study. The degree supports entry into honours- and research-intensive roles across universities, government and industry, as well as professional careers aligned with the chosen bachelor discipline.
