What Is a Foundation Program?
A Foundation Program is a preparatory course designed to bridge the gap between your high school qualifications and university degree requirements. It typically lasts 8–12 months and focuses on subject knowledge, academic English, and study skills.
You might choose Foundation if:
- You’ve completed a qualification that doesn’t meet direct entry criteria (for example, O-Levels, Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent).
- You’d like extra time to adjust to a new education system before starting your degree.
- You want smaller classes and more support as you settle into studying abroad.

What Is Direct Entry?

- You already meet the academic and English language requirements for your chosen university.
- You’re confident and ready to dive into full-degree studies.
- You prefer a faster, more direct route to graduation.

How to Decide Which Path Is Right for You

- Do my current qualifications meet the entry requirements for my target university?
