About the course
Based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, this professional doctorate by research builds advanced, critical understanding of complex sustainability challenges at the frontier of sustainable development. You will engage in interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research connected to professional and policy contexts. The course includes at least two-thirds research plus four coursework units, culminating in a significant, locally embedded project designed to influence change in society and your profession at doctoral level in sustainable development.
What you might learn
Develop systematic, critical knowledge of sustainable development at the frontier of the field and apply it to professional practice and research. Build specialised analytical and creative research skills to design, evaluate and synthesise evidence from diverse sources, and communicate new sustainability insights effectively.
