About the course
This course develops skills and experience in environmental science with an emphasis on project management, occupational health and safety, sustainability, and environmental monitoring and reporting. You’ll complete industry-relevant work experience to understand environmental project management in practice. Flexible study is available on-campus or off-campus. This is an AQF Level 9 Master’s degree (coursework) in Environmental Science. The programme deepens scientific methodology, data interpretation, and applied research skills for laboratory and field-based careers.
Career outcome
Graduates may pursue roles supporting environmental, engineering and sustainability initiatives across government, consulting and industry. Career pathways can include environmental project officer/manager, environmental advisor, sustainability or HSE-related roles, and positions focused on environmental monitoring, compliance and reporting. The course’s industry work experience helps prepare you for professional practice in applied Environmental Science at master’s level.
