Develop advanced expertise in psychological science through a supervised Doctor of Philosophy, completing a substantial original thesis. Research can span areas such as clinical, health and forensic psychology; mental health and wellbeing; adolescent and ageing research; substance use; body image; cognitive neuroscience; relationships and human factors. You will be supported by world-leading researchers, facilities and research centres in a PhD in Psychology. The programme develops research expertise in human behaviour, psychological measurement, and evidence-based intervention design.
