About the course
This honours year is designed for high-achieving psychology students to deepen disciplinary expertise and build strong research capability. You’ll learn from active researchers, complete advanced psychology units, and undertake a substantial honours thesis to strengthen investigation and evaluation skills. The degree supports progression to specialist postgraduate pathways and provides an accredited honours qualification in psychology. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates develop advanced research and analytical skills valued across health, community and business settings. Potential pathways include research assistant or researcher roles, market/social research, data analysis, behavioural support, program coordination and policy work, and people-focused roles such as HR and employee engagement. With further accredited training, the honours year also supports progression toward registration and careers in psychology-related practice.
