About the course
This doctoral (thesis-only) program is based in the Centre for Actuarial Studies within the Department of Economics, bringing together research expertise in actuarial studies and financial mathematics. Candidates join a collaborative research culture and are encouraged to participate in the Centre’s research and teaching activities, supported by strong library and computing facilities. Funding support is highlighted, including scholarships (with fee waivers and stipend) and conference travel funding for confirmed PhD candidates.
