About the course
This postgraduate specialisation in Education: Blindness/Low Vision builds specialist capability for supporting learners with vision impairment. Delivered online with regular lecturer contact, it combines evidence-based teaching practices with a 16-day professional placement to translate theory into real settings. The program is delivered by NextSense in affiliation with Macquarie University and is taken within the Master of Disability Studies in education and inclusive practice. The programme develops education knowledge and teaching-related skills aligned with its qualification level.
