About the course

This microcredential assesses prior professional learning completed through ACU’s CEI asynchronous short courses, aligned to TEQSA Higher Education Standards Domain 3 (Teaching). Participants provide evidence of 60 hours of CEI short-course learning (via digital badges) and complete a further 15 hours of assessment. The total volume of learning is 75 hours, equivalent to 5 credit points, in Education and Teaching at microcredential level. The programme develops education knowledge and teaching-related skills aligned with its qualification level.

This microcredential supports higher education professionals to gain formal recognition of teaching-related professional development and potentially receive academic credit. It is relevant for university educators and staff involved in teaching, learning and assessment who want evidence of currency with disciplinary scholarship and inclusive teaching practices. Entry requirements
