About the course
This combined Bachelor and Master is an accelerated four-year pathway for high-achieving students who want to work at the frontier of physics. You’ll build a strong science foundation while completing a Frontier Physics major and begin postgraduate study early with Master of Physics units, including research training. The course is designed to fast-track you toward advanced study and research in physics at UWA. The programme deepens scientific methodology, data interpretation, and applied research skills for laboratory and field-based careers.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for roles in research and development across universities, government agencies and high-technology industries. The combined structure and embedded research training supports pathways into physics research, advanced technical positions and further postgraduate study, including doctoral research. Career directions may include research assistant or physicist roles, instrumentation and data-focused work, and specialist work in emerging physics applications.
