Place Leadership Micro Credentials

About the course

Place Leadership Micro Credentials are short, masters-level online micro-credentials developed with Place Leaders Asia Pacific for place-sector professionals. The course explores place-based thinking across community, government and industry, helping participants analyse places through social, spatial and regulatory lenses and develop strategies for sustainable, resilient communities. Each micro-credential involves around 30 hours of study with online discussion and assessment in a focused module format.

Career outcome

These micro-credentials support professionals working in place-based roles across government, industry and community organisations. Participants can strengthen capability in stakeholder engagement, place-based analysis, leadership and problem solving for projects in planning, urban and regional development, community development and related built-environment fields. Completing modules may also provide credit towards electives in selected Notre Dame postgraduate programs in the built environment and related disciplines.
