About the course
Bond’s Graduate Diploma in Architecture is a two-semester pathway for graduates from non-architecture disciplines to build core architectural knowledge. In a studio-based environment at the Abedian School of Architecture, students develop design capability and foundations in history, construction technology, communications and urban sustainability. The program emphasises hands-on and digital making using advanced fabrication tools and prepares students to articulate into Bond’s Master of Architecture.
Career outcome
This Graduate Diploma provides foundational preparation for further professional study in architecture, supporting progression to the Master of Architecture and eventual registration pathways. Graduates develop portfolio-ready design and making skills and an understanding of architectural practice areas such as design development, communication and construction technologies.
