About the course
This course provides Minimum Australian Context Gap training for holders of an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) or Australian Technical Competencies Statement (ATCS) aligned to the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor). Delivery is blended and workplace-based and is self-paced, with attendance requirements advised by the lecturer. This is a short, vocational electrician bridging course in electrical engineering. The programme develops engineering knowledge and technical skills aligned with its qualification level and industry expectations.
Career outcome
The course supports participants to address Australian context requirements associated with the electrician trade pathway, building on existing overseas technical skills. It can help eligible students progress toward applying for the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor) through the relevant RTO, subject to completion requirements and supervised employment. Typical work outcome is employment as an electrician. This is a vocational short course in electrical engineering.
