About the course

Develop advanced capabilities to shape liveable, sustainable and resilient cities through urban planning and environmental perspectives. You’ll study how policy, design and environmental management influence urban development, and apply planning methods to real-world projects. The program supports professional practice in planning across government and consultancy contexts as a masters by coursework in the built environment. The programme strengthens advanced engineering design, systems analysis, and innovation management for complex industry projects.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue roles in urban and regional planning, environmental and sustainability planning, and policy development across local and state government, private planning consultancies and multidisciplinary design firms. Work may include strategic planning, development assessment, place-based planning and environmental management.
