About the course
This Certificate III in Roof Plumbing prepares you for work installing, maintaining and repairing flashings, metal roof and wall claddings, gutters, downpipes and related rainwater products across residential, industrial and commercial buildings. It includes core plumbing units plus roof-plumbing specialist competencies, delivered and assessed in a real or closely simulated workplace environment. The course can be undertaken as an apprenticeship and may support further training in the plumbing industry.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue entry-level trade roles in roof plumbing, working on the installation and repair of metal roofing and wall cladding systems, flashings, and rainwater goods such as gutters and downpipes. Employment may be with roofing/plumbing contractors or construction firms servicing residential, commercial and industrial projects, including maintenance and upgrade work.
