About the course
The Master of Science in Biological Sciences is a flexible, coursework-based program that lets you tailor study to your interests across modern biology. You can specialise in areas such as biomedical science, ecology and evolution, genetics, or plant science, or build a broad biological sciences foundation. The program includes hands-on practical learning and exposure to contemporary research approaches and experimental techniques.

Entry requirements
Applicants must hold a Bachelor degree (or international equivalent) with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0. They must also have completed at least 8 courses in a cognate discipline with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0. Where more than 8 cognate courses exist, ANU assesses the best 8 courses for the cognate GPA, and uses the higher GPA calculation method for the Bachelor program.
