About the course
The Diploma in Exercise Science is a one-year full-time (or part-time equivalent) pathway that mirrors first-year learning in ACU’s Bachelor of Exercise Science while adding a transition unit to build academic and study skills. It is designed for recent school leavers and mature-age entrants, offers smaller classes and tailored support, and can be taken as a standalone qualification or used to gain credit and progress into the second year of selected exercise science degrees. The programme develops laboratory safety, sample handling, and basic analytical techniques for technical roles.
Career outcome
Graduates gain practical Sciences skills for industry entry or articulation into higher qualifications. Graduates enter laboratory assistant and science technician roles. Preparing graduates for laboratory assistant, quality control, and science technician roles, or degree articulation.
