About the course
This combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Nutrition and Dietetics provides a strong science foundation followed by advanced professional training in nutrition and dietetics. You’ll study nutrition science alongside broader science electives, then progress to the master’s with core dietetics units, a research project and supervised placement. The program prepares graduates to work as qualified dietitians and pursue APD status in Nutrition & Dietetics. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers as dietitians and nutrition professionals across hospitals, community and public health services, private practice, aged care and health promotion. The degree’s scientific focus also supports pathways into research and evidence-based nutrition practice, including roles in nutrition education, program delivery and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
